Birthday Lunch @ Ben's Pavilion, KL

Namaskar! im back again.. this time is stil in the same story, about my birthday.. im so excited. week after hubby and i having dinner at Full House, i have surprise birthday lunch by my BFF Sholehah & my dear husband Mr. H. Im so speechless. All set up by this two amazing person... i love u both.. :D and thank you to Butet for your accompany, and Reezuan & Ijan for joining us later. Well im so happy that time and of coz with the place that call Ben's makes me feel more excited...

Just for your info, Ben's is one of the Big Group’s ventures such T Forty Two, Plan B, Delicious and such. Ben’s interior is similar to Delicious, there’s sofa and tea table both indoor and outdoor, comfortable chairs and small dining tables . The outdoor area overlooks Jalan Bukit Bintang, giving it a nice city ambiance but with uncrowded air.

let me share with you guys about the event and of coz the food that serve in this place. and i know.. less talk more photo... :D

At Ben's, the Menu is so extensive. It's make me 5-10 minutes to browse the Menu as my first time visit at this place. My husband did too. hahah.. and finally i have decided to have the PBJ Smoothie (Peanut butter, Jam) RM11.90+, hubby decided to have Chocolate Milkshake RM9.90+ and Butet choose the Pineapple Freeze(pineapple,mint,honey) for his second drink. THe PBJ Smoothies is the best i ever had.. so thick and suit my feeling that time. :D




Sholehah had Spaghettini Carbonara that full with beef bacons, mushrooms & cream. it's cream based spaghetti and of coz this one was pretty good when I had a bite, and i guess the chunck romano cheese helps.. slurppsss.. hehehe RM21.90+




What is Wagyu Beef? According to Wikipedia - Wagyu (和牛 Wagyū, literally Japanese cow).


Long browse of the Menu, and finally I settled with this Wagyu Beef Pie. When it serves, it doesn't appear hot on the outside. Coming to the filling, it maintain the heat that it suppose to have the pastry was buttery enough. It maintain the heat that it suppose to have. When I placed it onto my mouth, the beef was tender enough till almost it melted . Mushroom pieces were inside together. There was a sauce for us to pour on, delicious! RM22.90+

This is ordered by my hubby and it was superb.The beef lasagna, packed with ample amount of cheese, beef, and cooked to perfection. But his does not like it... as usual.. hahah but i love it. RM18.90+

Hola!, how are you, i know it's a bit too late to share this entry, but sweetheart, it's good to be share if it makes others feel YUMMY!.. hehe

2nd November 2011. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!... we had our dinner at this place. For those who may not know, Full House offers the taste of fussion foods. The cafe is also a boutique that sells items such as clothing, jewellery & accessories. Its so nice to be here and celebrate my birthday together with Mr H. We having nice conversation and funny talks too. Enough said lets see what we have here.... :D

Ok now, lets talk about this drink... so rich aromatic ice blended coffee drinks with cream and magic balls on it. Im going crazy with the magic balls... it’s sort of a light coated balls filled with flavor syrup in it...i love to having the magic balls burst into my mouth.. yummeeehhhh! RM9.90+



Oyster Morney. the oyster is fresh from Australia and the cheese blends well as it is spinach based. 1@RM6.90+ / 3@RM15.90+


here we are... my one and only Braised Lamb Shank...
this lamb shank serve with ratattouille and thyme emulsion. i really fall in love with this food. The portion is huge, of course you can share with your dearest... RM28.90+



tadaaa!!! this is Wok Sear Chicken Chop. i have tried this food during my first visit, and yes... i found it to be quite nice so I recommend you guys to try this whenever you have visit this place... the gravy was delicious, and the addition of sweet tasting raisins perked up the dish nicely. this is most recommended ok. RM16.90+

Dear Tummy,

Three days ago I celebrated my wedding anniversary... huhuhu.. im so bless and excited.... i have plan to have my lunch at the restaurant that i never try before. So that i choose for this place call Plan B. Let me share with you guys what i have in this place.

The place sangat cozy and relax. When i enter this place i can see the dessert display.. erkk.. i like... put the bag at the table and go straight to the counter display.. hahah.. yummy..


There a lot of dessert display that catch my eye. such Choc Banana Charlotte, Almond Toffe Bar, Rocky Road,Choc Truffle Torte, Raisin Scones, Banana Bread Loaf,Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting and many more. so i decided to have 2-3 dessert at least... haha.


Tadda! this is what i ordered for me n Mr H. I love dessert so much and im so disappointed because the Carrot Cake that i order early is finish because of the Q. uhuk uhuk... on the left is my charming Rocky Road Bar - RM5++ and on the right is Mr H dessert which is Banana Bread Loaf with Caramel Cream & Walnut - RM10++.




Later we start to order the main course. I really like the concept of the menu.. so simple.. there is no picture include... just wording :D


Hahaha... still talking about the desserts out there... i can see the desserts counter from inside... every single time i catch a glimpse at the desserts bar, and see the desserts come and go from their space.. hahahha


Here my main course. I have the Smoked Salmon Sandwich - RM19++


The Salmon is really fresh and i love the taste. The cream cheese is so yummy and the lemon smell make me drooling.. the chips so delicous but the cheft is so stingy with it. hahaha


But then i still love the Mr H food more... huhuhu... its look more yummy from my Smoked Salmon. And i tasted it and yes it is so juicy.. its include two juicy home made patties, melted cheddar, fries & onion rings. yummy! yummy! yummy!

we have order the iced chocolate - RM10++ and Chocolate Milkshake - RM10++ but there is no picture because the drinks come late and Mr H already keep the camera into the bag. :D

For me, this is the next spot that i think i will come again & again with my lovely friends. for those out there who like to try this place u should ready to be tempted with the desserts hahaha.. and it cost me RM89.30 after the tax.

Hi Im back... huhuhu. after the long break i manage to post and share about another place i go which i think you should try after this.

Ok here we go... last week (tuesday) my fiance and i pergi jalan-jalan cari makan... this time i berpeluang untuk dinner one more time at the Cafe Serena Braserrie yang terletak di dalam Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur. this is my third time come and feel the bask in cozy and delightful ambience.

Wah.. hebat pergi makan dekat dalam Hotel Nikko? or lebih tepat lagi one of my friend (dboy) called, and ask where we have our dinner that night and we said hotel nikko and he start the jokes with... "asal kurang ajar sangat makan kat situ?" hahaha... very funny... and we laugh together.

Well, actually my fiace dapat complimentary voucher during family day last month ( i think). hahha... and this is the second time dapat the same thing... so the opportunity is there.... so what we waiting for and waste the voucher right..?? hahaha...

Before i forgot, it is buffet style... so we can eat anything yang dah terhidang at the counter. there's a lot of food. from starter to dessert. what we have to do is... just choose... oh how i likeeee this...

Info about the price at this Cafe Serena Braserrie is RM80.00++ per person and the operation hours is 7.00pm - 10.30pm daily. (Buffet Dinner only)

So what we waiting for... let me share with you what this Cafe Serena Brasserie serve for dinner.

we arrive at 8.15pm and it's a bit quiet and only a few table full with people. the server brought us to our seats... and we continue to go to the food counters that was available with a variety of food... hahahah


taddaaa! hehehe... I started with roast lamb. this time i tried half-cooked pulak. selalu makan mesti nak yang well-done.. huhuh.. and the output memang sedap... and after all it is LAMB! Hasmi eat this also. tapi separuh jalan je.. sebab he said "tak masak.. selalu makan yang well-done aja.." hahahah


NASI!!! yeah.. all time favourite. for who? yesss... Hasmi... hahah... ok as we can see the side dishes for Hasmi is really simple... there's only one kepah and some shrimp. Semua nampak merah je? tak caya ke? He manage to choose this side dishes because he said at the tag is wrote tomato sauce not chili sauce.. hahahah.. i have fun time with him all the time at this place


a variety of sweets...
all of this for Hasmi... he does not like sweet things, but when he at place like this he like to try a variety of sweets. and i can see that he manage to finish all that he pick unless it is unpleasant for him... hahahaha.. and i know all this desert is sedap as he manage to habiskan semua... and he used to say "nikko makan bukan sedap" hahah sebab almost every year he eat at this place. sebab company yang dia kerja sekarang every year buat event KLIFF dekat hotel nikko... i think he is just bored... hahaha


this is my mushroom quiche... i actually tak suka this thing... but i give it a try jugak.. at least i know how it taste and by suprise it taste really good and the mushroom is so tasty.. but i really dont like the quiche itself sebab cepat rasa muak... huhuhuhu

this is my first try makan oyster.. last time masa datang sini takut nak cuba... sebab pelik je kan tengok oyster tu.. and my friend (anden) ada cakap rugi kalau tak cuba.. lagipon benda tuh mahal tau kalau nak makan.. heheh so this time peluang dah ada i give my self a try.. hahahah
the sushi is so delicious.. teringat sampai sekarang the combination of sticky rice+cucumber+isi ketam tatkala berada dalam mulut ni... perghhhh sedap.. hehehe

the experience is so cool... i did not eat right from the shell because it is so slimy.... hahah tak sanggup makcik nak telan.. so i use spoon and i squeeze a bit of lemon on top of the oyster... and i eat... pergh.... luckily sedap... if not.. muntah hijau lah... since the oyster a little fishy


chicken skewer.... we share this food together... since there is a lot of food over there that we should try... hahaha
the chicken is so tender... and the smell of lemon grass sangat kuat sampaikan saya tak sedar dah habis one chicken skewer... deli...delicious. i like the bell pepper sebab ranggup and sedap...

Ok let see what in my plate right here... since hasmi tak makan this kind of Kepah, (dia kata berbulu) hahaha... he pass to me and it taste so delicious... so i take another... huhu.. and the sauce is not that so pedas since i kind a pedas person. but still ok for me and the kepah is so tender.. tak liat... cuma udang dia je a bit keras... tak sure sebab tak menikmati this time or what...
and yessss! the crumpled potato baked soo...sooo... delicious.. soft and the smell of cheese which make me eat all of them.. hahahha. the eggplant was ok... because i have my old time favorite eggplant place (perhaps i will introduce you guys my superb eggplant)hahahah

from my point of view this is delicious and super romantic dessert ever.. hhahhaa ouchh~

So why dont you give a try for Cafe Serena Braserrie... once a year should be ok since the price quite pricey for me... hahaha... it's actually suitable for those who loves to eat ( like me) and ready to see a sea of colourful and wonderful dish at here... but please..please... jangan la membazir.. kalau anda seorang yang bukan eaters hardcore, better dont. bukan apa.. risau membazir kan.. heheheh... me also bersyukur tak membazir...

so hope you enjoy with my little contribution this time... for those yang tak tau nak celebrate your wife/husband/fiance/mum/dad/sibling birhtday, maybe this Cafe Serena Braserrie will be a good choice this time... go and feel by yourself. saya sudah... anda?
