Buffet Dinner @ Cafe Serena Braserrie, Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur

Hi Im back... huhuhu. after the long break i manage to post and share about another place i go which i think you should try after this.

Ok here we go... last week (tuesday) my fiance and i pergi jalan-jalan cari makan... this time i berpeluang untuk dinner one more time at the Cafe Serena Braserrie yang terletak di dalam Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur. this is my third time come and feel the bask in cozy and delightful ambience.

Wah.. hebat pergi makan dekat dalam Hotel Nikko? or lebih tepat lagi one of my friend (dboy) called, and ask where we have our dinner that night and we said hotel nikko and he start the jokes with... "asal kurang ajar sangat makan kat situ?" hahaha... very funny... and we laugh together.

Well, actually my fiace dapat complimentary voucher during family day last month ( i think). hahha... and this is the second time dapat the same thing... so the opportunity is there.... so what we waiting for and waste the voucher right..?? hahaha...

Before i forgot, it is buffet style... so we can eat anything yang dah terhidang at the counter. there's a lot of food. from starter to dessert. what we have to do is... just choose... oh how i likeeee this...

Info about the price at this Cafe Serena Braserrie is RM80.00++ per person and the operation hours is 7.00pm - 10.30pm daily. (Buffet Dinner only)

So what we waiting for... let me share with you what this Cafe Serena Brasserie serve for dinner.

we arrive at 8.15pm and it's a bit quiet and only a few table full with people. the server brought us to our seats... and we continue to go to the food counters that was available with a variety of food... hahahah


taddaaa! hehehe... I started with roast lamb. this time i tried half-cooked pulak. selalu makan mesti nak yang well-done.. huhuh.. and the output memang sedap... and after all it is LAMB! Hasmi eat this also. tapi separuh jalan je.. sebab he said "tak masak.. selalu makan yang well-done aja.." hahahah


NASI!!! yeah.. all time favourite. for who? yesss... Hasmi... hahah... ok as we can see the side dishes for Hasmi is really simple... there's only one kepah and some shrimp. Semua nampak merah je? tak caya ke? He manage to choose this side dishes because he said at the tag is wrote tomato sauce not chili sauce.. hahahah.. i have fun time with him all the time at this place


a variety of sweets...
all of this for Hasmi... he does not like sweet things, but when he at place like this he like to try a variety of sweets. and i can see that he manage to finish all that he pick unless it is unpleasant for him... hahahaha.. and i know all this desert is sedap as he manage to habiskan semua... and he used to say "nikko makan bukan sedap" hahah sebab almost every year he eat at this place. sebab company yang dia kerja sekarang every year buat event KLIFF dekat hotel nikko... i think he is just bored... hahaha


this is my mushroom quiche... i actually tak suka this thing... but i give it a try jugak.. at least i know how it taste and by suprise it taste really good and the mushroom is so tasty.. but i really dont like the quiche itself sebab cepat rasa muak... huhuhuhu

this is my first try makan oyster.. last time masa datang sini takut nak cuba... sebab pelik je kan tengok oyster tu.. and my friend (anden) ada cakap rugi kalau tak cuba.. lagipon benda tuh mahal tau kalau nak makan.. heheh so this time peluang dah ada i give my self a try.. hahahah
the sushi is so delicious.. teringat sampai sekarang the combination of sticky rice+cucumber+isi ketam tatkala berada dalam mulut ni... perghhhh sedap.. hehehe

the experience is so cool... i did not eat right from the shell because it is so slimy.... hahah tak sanggup makcik nak telan.. so i use spoon and i squeeze a bit of lemon on top of the oyster... and i eat... pergh.... luckily sedap... if not.. muntah hijau lah... since the oyster a little fishy


chicken skewer.... we share this food together... since there is a lot of food over there that we should try... hahaha
the chicken is so tender... and the smell of lemon grass sangat kuat sampaikan saya tak sedar dah habis one chicken skewer... deli...delicious. i like the bell pepper sebab ranggup and sedap...


Hasmi and sweets...


Ok let see what in my plate right here... since hasmi tak makan this kind of Kepah, (dia kata berbulu) hahaha... he pass to me and it taste so delicious... so i take another... huhu.. and the sauce is not that so pedas since i kind a pedas person. but still ok for me and the kepah is so tender.. tak liat... cuma udang dia je a bit keras... tak sure sebab tak menikmati this time or what...
and yessss! the crumpled potato baked soo...sooo... delicious.. soft and the smell of cheese which make me eat all of them.. hahahha. the eggplant was ok... because i have my old time favorite eggplant place (perhaps i will introduce you guys my superb eggplant)hahahah

i really enjoy this dessert... even its simple.. but it is the best... it's just wonderful dessert

the sweetness of the strawberry suddenly make me melt like the chocolate melting inside my mouth...
from my point of view this is delicious and super romantic dessert ever.. hhahhaa ouchh~

So why dont you give a try for Cafe Serena Braserrie... once a year should be ok since the price quite pricey for me... hahaha... it's actually suitable for those who loves to eat ( like me) and ready to see a sea of colourful and wonderful dish at here... but please..please... jangan la membazir.. kalau anda seorang yang bukan eaters hardcore, better dont. bukan apa.. risau membazir kan.. heheheh... me also bersyukur tak membazir...

Last Saturday pegi jalan-jalan cari makan dekat pasar Dato Keramat... makanan yang dicari tak lain tak bukan memang Ikan Bakar Fresh.. huhuhu.. yang ni terbaik dari pasar dato keramat.. pergghhh... meletup. Apa yang sedap pasal ikan bakar dekat sini saiz dia dan rasanya... sedap... jarang nak jumpa ikan-ikan bakar yang sedap... ada juga tempat lain yang sedap tapi kat sini pon antara yang tersedap.

Kepada yang tak pernah sampai, mari saya beritahu macam mana nak pergi ke tempat ini. kalau naik train just turun je ke stesen Putra Dato Keramat, lintas jalan masuk dalam pasar keramat, sebelah kanan anda akan nampak gerai kuih muih... jalan ke depan sikit lagi, sebelah kiri anda bole lihat gerai ikan bakar bob.. exact nama gerai tu saya tak tau, tapi tokei dia badan besar-besar sikit. sampai lah anda di gerai ikan bakar tebaik di pasar dato keramat ini. heheheh

Tempat ni kalau time office hour memang la full... kalau terlambat skit memang kena tunggu la nak makan.. orang yang makan dekat sini rata-rata pekerja sekitar KL dan luar kawasan juga. Yang kerja sekitar jalan ampang datang, wangsa maju datang, jalan pudu datang, kg pandan datang, shah alam pon datang.. hahaha.. pendek kata... dari mana pon orang sanggup datang makan dekat tempat ni.. sebab apa? sedappp... hari-hari kat sini pasti full house..

Dekat dalam ni ada dua kedai yang sedap.. tapi if me with all FRIEND akan singgah dekat kedai bob... sebab kedai dia memang dari awal try situ dah jatuh centa dengan ikan bakar dia dan sup kaki ayam... Ok sekarang jom share skit gambar kami dine-in at ikan bakar pasar dato keramat ni...



tudiaaaa ijan sedang makan.. dari office singgah semata-mata nak makan ikan bakar... heheheh. tengok vest pon dia tak sempat bukak.. hehehe


yang ni ikan pari. sedap sangat... isi dia so tender and tak liat. for those yang suka makan ikan pari bakar, ikan pari kat sini tak hanyir.. boleh makan dengan tenang. and sesiapa yang jenis tak makan banyak, sorang makan mesti susah nak habis. jadi bole share dengan your love one, family and FRIENDS.. hehehe. but this time ikan ni saya share dengan ijan sebab dia cakap dia dah tak larat nak habiskan sorang. hahah. so kami share. makan dengan pencicah dia... memang sedap.. asik tambah je. tak cukup. ikan dalam pinggan tu berharga cuma RM14. Mahal? ikan ni besarrrr...


haaaa.. yang ni la specialty kat sini.. Jus Mangga.. yang ni memang terbaik dekat gerai ikan bakar ni.. makan ikan bakar dengan air ni sangatla enak.. for those yang dahaga sangat memang tak cukup minum segelas... cuma RM2.50 segelas


Dboy dengan Jus Mangga... kalau dia minum mesti lebih dari 1 gelas.. sebab memang sedap pon...


Ikan Kembong... sedap juga. lembut, di hidang masa panas.. memang tak boleh tahan kalau setakat tengok je. yang ni Hasmi makan. Nasi + Ikan Bakar? memang bole makan lah dia kan... ikan saiz macam ni lebih kurang RM7-8 seekor


kepada yang tak makan pedas, jangan risau.. ada sup kaki ayam disediakan... sup kaki ayam kat sini pon sedap.. memang datang pakej sekali dengan Nasi + ikan bakar + pencicah + sup kaki ayam. Hasmi tak makan pedas. so dia makan sup untuk kuah. tapi dia tak makan kaki ayam.. hahahha pelik ke? itulah dia Hasmi kalau nak tau. lagi nak bagi tau.. kalau lambat sikit kaki ayam tak dapat ye.. sebab sambutan hangat jugak sup kaki ayam ni. kami pon tak dapat.. sebab agak lewat juga datang hari tuh.


Tengok Reezuan ni... dia dah habis makan awal lagi.. tapi masih menghirup sup kaki ayam yang masih panas... sebab sup tuh memang sedap... hehehe


makan-makan sambil borak-borak memang menyeronokkan...


Hasmi makan makan makan NASI... heheh. sedikit info tentang ikan bakar yang Hasmi paling suka adalah ikan terubok bakar.. tapi this time tak pilih pon...


pinggan Ijan dah nak dekat habis dah tu... tapi ini tambahan nasi yang kedua lah... heheheh


Tadddaaa! wahhh, ini yang saya nak share... actually yang ni bukan dari kedai ikan bakar. tapi complimentary dari Reezuan. nama nya D'bilis Goreng. memang sedap. ikan bilis yang digoreng dengan chili dan hirisan bawang... selalu makan tapi yang ni lain skit sebab hirisan bawang dia banyak.. i like bawang... memang sedap. 1 pack ni hanya RM5. after this bole order untuk makan Raya. thanks Reezuan. semoga maju jaya dengan this new baby.


Bro paling lewat tiba... walaupon dah makan still boleh pesan Jus Mangga. sebab apa? dah datang rugi tak minum.. heheheh

The dessert... yang ni namanya Kuih Gandus. kuih ni berintikan jem nenas. makan masa panas-panas memang sedap. tak berapa manis, sesuai untuk yang tak suka manis. kuih ni dijual berhadapan dengan gerai ikan bakar yang kami makan ni... for your information, dekat dalam pasar dato keramat ni ada macam-macam jenis kuih muih dan manisan yang bole anda lihat by the time melangkah masuk dalam kawasan ni... tengok semua jenis kuih tak tau nak pilih mana satu.. sebab banyak sangat... kalau kami datang mesti akan order kuih ni jugak sebagai pencuci mulut... kuih ni 3 biji RM1

Jadi kalau anda pengemar Ikan Bakar, datang dan cuba makan dekat sini. seperti biasa memang tak rugi untuk kita give a try untuk gerai ikan bakar pasar dato keramat ni. saya sudah.. anda?

Today i want to tell you about the place that me and my FRIENDS choose for our dinner. Tempat ni lain skit dari tempat2 biasa.. sebab specialty dia marvelous and memang Beirut Lubnan habis...

Bigbro yang kenalkan kami dengan makanan-makanan arab ni.. masa 1st time memang macam "perak" skit la.. (saya memang kampung PERAK) hahahha. tapi memang puas dapat try makanan arab... and its ended with berulang2 kali pergi bertandang dekat tempat ni.. hahhaha.. satu tempat yang betul2 melekat dalam jiwa adalah.. teng! teng! teng! AL-RAWSHA!!! tempat dia pon tak susah.. terletak di Jalan Damai KL.

Ok story skit pasal jenis makanan kat sini, specialty memang la LAMB and CHICKEN.. terbaik dari al-rawsha.. u should give a try. bole makan dengan nasi (ada kabshah and mandy) atau pon dengan roti. ( macam risya sebab dia diet).

Jom tengok apa yang best dekat Al-Rawsha...


saya order air ni... nama dia BARBICAN STRAWBERRY... for those yang suka air sparkling memang sesuai order air ni. harga cuma RM4.


kalau nak tau skit2 pasal Al-Rawsha Restaurant ni bole datang dan baca sendiri... there's a bit history about the restaurant. hehehe


Tadda!!! nampak yummy kan? ok this is what they call LAMB MAGHDUT. It's so big.... uuuu with this portion bole makan up to 6 person... tengok dia punye lamb so banyak.. this time memang dapat lamb lebih banyak dari nasi. and LAMB MAGHDUT is awesome. penggemar kambing memang leh habiskan semua ni kalau bebetul lapar. Tapi harus percaya this portion hanya untuk Ijan and Bro only.... huhu dan di bantu oleh Suke... cayalahhh!!! Ok satu pinggan ni harga RM46 only.


It's mine... fuhhh! bravo! bravo! yang ni memang kegemaranku.. terbaik dari ladang Al-Rawsha jugak... this is what they call CHICKEN MANDY. nasik memang sedap.. ayam ni di masak dengan menggunakan dapur bawah tanah... camtuh la dia cita kat saya masa saya tanya. hehehe. ayam so tender.. i loikkeee.. mmmm memang sedaplah... portion like this you can share up to 2 person. dont worry how big or small the portion... still we can share with the love one... after all sharing is caring... huhuhu. but this time i eat all of it.. coz my other half to be is sangat lapar katanya and he wanted to be by his own. after all its NASI.... haha! haha! Harga yang ni cuma RM17 only!

See.. partner in crime.. where got lamb? hehehe.. this 2 lamb lover can eat this whole plate u know.. i tell u not tipu.. tipu... tapi ada ayat terselit... "ni kalau Dboy ada mesti leh sama2 habiskan..." haha! haha! we all miss you dboy... cepat2 settlekan urusan kedai ok so that we can share the LAMB MAGHDUT together2... Mineral water yang this 2 guy minum Harga RM2 only!


Haaaa.. yang ni nama nye HALF ROASTED CHICKEN WITH RICE(NASI) haha! haha! this is for hasmi... actually dekat Al-Rawsha we also can customize either chicken/lamb and so on.. so this time my other half to be wanna try something different lah kan... good choice jugak la... sedap katanya.. sebab apa? NASI... heheheh. nasi tu namanya PLAIN MANDY RICE.. beras dia panjang2.. import khas dari negara Lubnan. Thumbs up sebab semangat nak try benda lain dari Menu. Harga yang ni RM15 only!


MANGO JUICE... yang ni pon memang la terbaik dari ladang Al-Rawsha... tak caya? kenapa saya cakap camtuh.. sebab cik risya kita ni kalau datang tempat ni.. dia akan order air ni sahaja.. with NO sugar + NO ais... still sedap ok... yang ni harga dia RM10. Rasa mahal ke? takpe cuba dulu... dah rasa baru tau nanti....


Delicious.. yang ni they call HALF ROASTED CHICKEN WITH BREAD. memang sedap.. tak tipu.. roti dia even great... but you must eat it while hot.. if not.. u will feel the bread like u chew the chewy... haha! haha! but its a good choice. for those yang tak suke RICE you can eat with BREAD... no worries.. everything is possible. this will cost you RM17 only. still you can share like we do.... we really enjoy this food together.. and yes together better~


So this is my story about our dinner tonight... yes i know, diferent people will like different place which serve the similar arabian food. tapi apa nak rugi kan if we give a try at Al-Rawsha. go and feel your own experience while there.. saya sudah...

Dinner at Al-Rawsha absolutely awesome.. memang best... kenyang sangat makan mandy chicken.. tapi lagi kenyang bila tengok ijan dengan bro nak habiskan Lamb Maghdut diaorang... tapi memang berbaloi.. hahaha. dan lagi makan di sini tak kena tax. you pay what you eat only. cool!
