Buffet Dinner @ Cafe Serena Braserrie, Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur

Hi Im back... huhuhu. after the long break i manage to post and share about another place i go which i think you should try after this.

Ok here we go... last week (tuesday) my fiance and i pergi jalan-jalan cari makan... this time i berpeluang untuk dinner one more time at the Cafe Serena Braserrie yang terletak di dalam Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur. this is my third time come and feel the bask in cozy and delightful ambience.

Wah.. hebat pergi makan dekat dalam Hotel Nikko? or lebih tepat lagi one of my friend (dboy) called, and ask where we have our dinner that night and we said hotel nikko and he start the jokes with... "asal kurang ajar sangat makan kat situ?" hahaha... very funny... and we laugh together.

Well, actually my fiace dapat complimentary voucher during family day last month ( i think). hahha... and this is the second time dapat the same thing... so the opportunity is there.... so what we waiting for and waste the voucher right..?? hahaha...

Before i forgot, it is buffet style... so we can eat anything yang dah terhidang at the counter. there's a lot of food. from starter to dessert. what we have to do is... just choose... oh how i likeeee this...

Info about the price at this Cafe Serena Braserrie is RM80.00++ per person and the operation hours is 7.00pm - 10.30pm daily. (Buffet Dinner only)

So what we waiting for... let me share with you what this Cafe Serena Brasserie serve for dinner.

we arrive at 8.15pm and it's a bit quiet and only a few table full with people. the server brought us to our seats... and we continue to go to the food counters that was available with a variety of food... hahahah


taddaaa! hehehe... I started with roast lamb. this time i tried half-cooked pulak. selalu makan mesti nak yang well-done.. huhuh.. and the output memang sedap... and after all it is LAMB! Hasmi eat this also. tapi separuh jalan je.. sebab he said "tak masak.. selalu makan yang well-done aja.." hahahah


NASI!!! yeah.. all time favourite. for who? yesss... Hasmi... hahah... ok as we can see the side dishes for Hasmi is really simple... there's only one kepah and some shrimp. Semua nampak merah je? tak caya ke? He manage to choose this side dishes because he said at the tag is wrote tomato sauce not chili sauce.. hahahah.. i have fun time with him all the time at this place


a variety of sweets...
all of this for Hasmi... he does not like sweet things, but when he at place like this he like to try a variety of sweets. and i can see that he manage to finish all that he pick unless it is unpleasant for him... hahahaha.. and i know all this desert is sedap as he manage to habiskan semua... and he used to say "nikko makan bukan sedap" hahah sebab almost every year he eat at this place. sebab company yang dia kerja sekarang every year buat event KLIFF dekat hotel nikko... i think he is just bored... hahaha


this is my mushroom quiche... i actually tak suka this thing... but i give it a try jugak.. at least i know how it taste and by suprise it taste really good and the mushroom is so tasty.. but i really dont like the quiche itself sebab cepat rasa muak... huhuhuhu

this is my first try makan oyster.. last time masa datang sini takut nak cuba... sebab pelik je kan tengok oyster tu.. and my friend (anden) ada cakap rugi kalau tak cuba.. lagipon benda tuh mahal tau kalau nak makan.. heheh so this time peluang dah ada i give my self a try.. hahahah
the sushi is so delicious.. teringat sampai sekarang the combination of sticky rice+cucumber+isi ketam tatkala berada dalam mulut ni... perghhhh sedap.. hehehe


my first try ever...
the experience is so cool... i did not eat right from the shell because it is so slimy.... hahah tak sanggup makcik nak telan.. so i use spoon and i squeeze a bit of lemon on top of the oyster... and i eat... pergh.... luckily sedap... if not.. muntah hijau lah... since the oyster a little fishy


chicken skewer.... we share this food together... since there is a lot of food over there that we should try... hahaha
the chicken is so tender... and the smell of lemon grass sangat kuat sampaikan saya tak sedar dah habis one chicken skewer... deli...delicious. i like the bell pepper sebab ranggup and sedap...


Hasmi and sweets...


Ok let see what in my plate right here... since hasmi tak makan this kind of Kepah, (dia kata berbulu) hahaha... he pass to me and it taste so delicious... so i take another... huhu.. and the sauce is not that so pedas since i kind a pedas person. but still ok for me and the kepah is so tender.. tak liat... cuma udang dia je a bit keras... tak sure sebab tak menikmati this time or what...
and yessss! the crumpled potato baked soo...sooo... delicious.. soft and the smell of cheese which make me eat all of them.. hahahha. the eggplant was ok... because i have my old time favorite eggplant place (perhaps i will introduce you guys my superb eggplant)hahahah

i really enjoy this dessert... even its simple.. but it is the best... it's just wonderful dessert

this is my strawberry chocolate dip and marshmellow chocolate dip...
the sweetness of the strawberry suddenly make me melt like the chocolate melting inside my mouth...
from my point of view this is delicious and super romantic dessert ever.. hhahhaa ouchh~

So why dont you give a try for Cafe Serena Braserrie... once a year should be ok since the price quite pricey for me... hahaha... it's actually suitable for those who loves to eat ( like me) and ready to see a sea of colourful and wonderful dish at here... but please..please... jangan la membazir.. kalau anda seorang yang bukan eaters hardcore, better dont. bukan apa.. risau membazir kan.. heheheh... me also bersyukur tak membazir...

so hope you enjoy with my little contribution this time... for those yang tak tau nak celebrate your wife/husband/fiance/mum/dad/sibling birhtday, maybe this Cafe Serena Braserrie will be a good choice this time... go and feel by yourself. saya sudah... anda?
